Exceptional chestnut wood statue from the workshop of the Belgian sculptor Roland LAVIANNE (1948-2022). Height 220cm. Anthropomorphic sculpture representing a figure carved in the natural forms of wood, his arms long-drawn along the body , chest and torso in relief , his head directed downwards to the timeless expression. We present here one of the two largest sculptures from his workshop. This collection was acquired in collaboration with @igmarstuer (Aalst - Belgium) and @pschantiques (marché Paul Bert , Paris Saint-Ouen)
